Old Postcards For Sale
Thousands of vintage old postcards which are for immediate sale at my
eBay store are presented
here. Images are provided for all cards. Sold postcards are removed from the
image inventory when purchased as time allows.
So what are your postcards worth? Well, the value of old postcards can be
estimated by researching how much items which are similar to yours are offered.
Typically vintage 1893-1920 cards, considered antiques today, are more valuable.
They are considered quite collectable. This is called the golden age of the
postcard.
Some topics are considered highly desirable. Here is a short list of the
"better" cards:
Santa of course
Dressed cats for some reason
Halloween, and these can get quite pricey
Real photographs of USA Main streets
Motorcycles
Railroad Depots
Advertising
Silks
Store Interiors
Well you get the idea.
Regular size cards 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches to include those made from about
1920 to 1970 are often 25 cents each and can be found in mixtures. I offer
several of these mixtures of 100 for from 9.99 to $24.99 plus postage on eBay.
Modern cards which are 4 x 6 inches are valuable for personal interest but
little else. They are referred to by collectors as continentals. I offer many on
eBay for 10 cents each in groups of 100.
You may browse the items we have for sale by going to each gallery page
of listings. You will find an image and item number. If you find an item you
would like to know more about, record the item number. It will be pc100 to
pc5299 for vintage postcards and m100-m1099 for modern postcards.
Then use this link to my eBay store to check availability and to buy if you would like the item.
If you see a small box with a red x inside, like this  ,
that means
the item has been sold. New items are added as others are sold.

pages from time to time. Having these postcards to look at is kind of like going
to a postcard show when ever you want to go.
